For the first time in program history, the Western Mustangs swept the podium at the 2024 OUA Track & Field Championships with both the men’s and women’s teams winning gold.
Head Coach Vickie Croley was named the OUA Men's Team and OUA Women's Team Coach of the Year.
The women’s team finished with silver and the men’s in fourth place at the U SPORTS Championship. The teams brought home 13 medals total.
Assistant Coaches Caroline Ehrhardt and Taylor Ehrhardt were named the U SPORTS Assistant Coach of the Year.
Hans-Mathieu Indome was named the Dr. Claude Brown Trophy recipient. Indome, Favour Okpali and Vivian Ogor won Purple Blankets.
